Pandora is one nifty beast. You give it an artist or song name, and it will feed you a stream of songs “similar to” the given artist or song. You can adjust the flow, by identifying songs you like a lot or don’t like at all, and Pandora will change the music it plays on that station accordingly. You get 10 free hours, and after that it’s $12/quarter or $36/year. You can have up to 100 separate stations.
This is the first pay streaming music service I’ve actually been tempted to try out. The best part, IMO, is that you can hear music by artists you might never randomly happen across otherwise. They have a blog up, as well.
