I had an odd thought. Marvelman, the British comic book series which was the origin of Miracleman, ran from 1954 to 1963, with issues #25 to issue #370. Miracleman ended when Eclipse Comics went bankrupt—at that point, the first 24 issues had been released, and the 25th was written and being promoted…but hadn’t yet been published. Maybe it was some sort of weird time-travelling backward interference!
